Hulk Hogan Responds To CM Punk's Recent Comments - Interesting Read
Fighting Spirit Magazine is featuring another quote from a recent interview with TNA's Hulk Hogan where he is asked to respond to a recent promo by CM Punk on WWE television where he said, in character, that guys like Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino "had it easy" during their respective reigns as WWE Champion.
"CM Punk never had to walk into a dressing room where he wasn't supposed to be. He never walked into Kansas City, where Harley Race was the champion for 20 years, where Harley had told all of his friends and neighbours that he was the only heavyweight champion, because he was the NWA champion. CM Punk never walked into Kemper Arena and had Harley Race put a gun to his head and say, 'Get out of my town, kid'.
"So, does CM Punk have it easier than me? When I was flying 300 days a year, doing double-shots (Editor's note: two shows in one day), and there was no Rock and no 'Stone Cold' around, but just me (as the main event guy) for the first 15 years? During the day, I was flying from New York and stopping in St. Louis, taking a TV station manager out to lunch, and then in the afternoon getting to the building early in another town, like Chicago, and cutting a TV deal before wrestling that night. So, no, I don't think I had it easier than him."
Hulk Hogan Says He Has A New Reality Show In The Works
Hulk Hogan claims he has a new realty TV show being set up.
He tweeted: "Very grateful for attracting a new reality show where I get to work with family and a few good friends that always wanted to be in show biz. I'll keep the Maniacs updated during the hard work make it real process."
He also responded to a question about "bashing" Bret Hart in an interview. He said: "Didn't bash him, but its funny how the interviewer changes words when he writes the story to sell it to you or anyone that believes anything that is written, but I understand that is the only view you are getting of the situation."
Speculation on WWE's RAW Response to Glenn Beck
One WWE source noted that they wouldn't be surprised if the whole Glenn Beck situation is what is saving Jack Swagger and his WrestleMania storyline following Tuesday night's arrest. WWE will likely go hard on the angle this Monday night. The source speculated that we may get a 2013 version of Vince McMahon challenging Eric Bischoff to a fight on RAW.
More on WWE Re-Writing This Coming Monday's RAW
We noted earlier that WWE officials weren't happy with Glenn Beck's response to their invite to RAW and that Stephanie McMahon had the WWE writers working late Friday night on Monday's script. It was noted that they may have a special segment planned to mock Beck on Monday's RAW.
Several fans have commented that this sounds like WWE mocking Denver Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke after the "Denver Debacle" scheduling conflict back in 2009. For what it's worth, the original note from Dave Meltzer on WWE re-writing Monday's RAW noted that the show was looking to be like a "Stan Kroenke edition." So a lot of fans were spot-on.

"Yesterday I was on my way home from work. I was navigating the subway station just as I usually do, however something was different. Instead of the usual guys selling toys or making balloon dogs, there was The Man, The Myth, The Legend.... He had his usual stack of photos and 2 name placards. I was in such shock I doubled back, just so I could get this video for you guys."
"[W]hen I made the pass the first time I saw him talking to somebody holding their wallet and then the person began laughing and walked away."
Another fan saw Virgil earlier in Grand Central Station and noted that he was asking $20 for photos but was talked down to $5. Twitter user @Stadiuminsider posted this photo of Virgil in the subway:
