Several people have pointed out that WWE recently beeped Chris Benoit’s name on recent Classics Video on Demand footage, including old ECW episodes.
Is this right, or should history be left in the past?
My view is that, yeah the guy done a unthinkable thing, and for doing what he done I'm sure he will be paying for it wherever he is now. However before this happened the man was an amazing wrestler/athlete and WWE superstar. There are a lot of other Superstars in WWEs books both past and present that have a more than sketchy past... Booker T and MVP to state only 2. Both these superstars have spent time behind bars, but have quite rightly been given a second chance. In MVPs case they made a storyline from it!!! Now I,am not saying Benoit is in the same league as these 2 men, he is on a totally different level all together!!! But let people see what he could do before his demons got the best of him. WWE are only bringing more attention to him by trying to erase him from the history of the company.
